Your first visit to Greater Vancouver Baptist Church will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable. We are conveniently located at the corner of Kingsway and Victoria in Vancouver. The main entrance is right on Victoria Dr. There is a small parking lot at the back of the building, and there is plenty of free street parking in the neighbourhood.

We exist to love God, grow in our relationship with Christ and serve others in our community and around the world. Our adult Bible class meets each Sunday at 10:00AM. We spend time in worship, fellowship, teaching and care for one another. There are also several opportunities each year to participate in Couples, Men’s and Women’s retreats, as well as monthly activities. WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
Nursery | Birth – 2 Years
Loving nursery workers provide a clean and safe environment with a state of the art paging system. Parents can have peace of mind while they attend the adult Bible class or our main worship service. Nursery is provided for newborns through two year olds.
Toddlers | 2 – 4 Years
It is amazing how much your child will learn in these classes specifically tailored for children from three to four years old. They will come home singing new songs, quoting verses they have memorized, displaying their crafts, and sharing with you important truths they are learning from the Bible. They will learn things like the importance of obedience, being kind, sharing, and even more important truths, like who Jesus is, and the fact that God loves them and made them for a unique purpose. The teachers and workers are trained, dedicated, compassionate, and excited to be a small part of the life of your child.
Junior Age Classes | Kindergarten – Grade 7
Children from Kindergarten to grade 7 will experience classes that are as full of energy, excitement, and hope as they are. They will learn powerful truths from the Bible that will stick with them for the rest of their lives. They will memorize Scripture, participate in games, and make great friends. You can always be sure that your child will be taught God’s Word in a safe, controlled environment with staff who are well trained and have a genuine love for your child.
Youthopolis is an active youth department for teenagers in grades 8-12. We have teens from all over the Vancouver area join us for Bible study and activities on Sunday mornings at 9:45am, as well as monthly activities, youth conferences and Bible Studies. Youthopolis is a place to make new friends, be challenged to make right choices, and grow in your relationship with God.
A typical Sunday service will last about an hour and fifteen minutes. During the service we will sing carefully chosen songs of worship, and Pastor Conner will bring a relevant, Bible message. For each service there is childcare available and we encourage you to come early and stay late after the service for fellowship and meeting new people.
